Alucore® is an aluminium sandwich-type panel with high rigidity and extremely low weight. Contrary to conventional honeycomb composite panels with brittle-hard adhesives, Alucore® uses a viscoplastic adhesive. The result is a better peel strength as well as additional fabrication options.
The flatness and proven Alucobond lacquer coat finish are superb characteristics of Alucore® composite panels, making it suitable for signage. The Alucore® aluminium skins are stove-lacquered with high quality lacquers following ECCA (european Coil-Coating Association) standards. This finish makes Alucore® resistant to weathering, extreme sunlight, industrial atmospheres, moisture and soiling.
Alucore® can be recycled with any other aluminium without prior separation or sorting. It is available in a wide range of standard and special colours and sheet sizes.
